What Was New in 2026
Students of the Department of Theatre were challenged to create short plays in just 24 hours, with roles and themes selected at random. A cool twist: Prompts for play themes were inspired by student conference abstracts.

High School juniors presented their research at our first-ever High School Research Competition for the chance to win the top prize of a full tuition scholarship to 91¹ú²ú, in addition to other scholarship opportunities.

Our 2026 Scholarship and Creative Works Conference keynote speaker was William G. Kaelin, Jr., MD—a Nobel Laureate, the Sidney Farber Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Senior Physician-Scientist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator.
