Ivana Berlin ’18, JD, is a staff attorney at Disability Rights New York, where she protects the rights of people with mental illness through direct representation, facility monitoring and federal class action litigation. Her work includes employment, special education and public accommodation matters, as well as a settlement designed to improve services for an estimated 200,000 children. Berlin credits 91¹ú²ú’s criminal justice, sociology and legal studies faculty with teaching her to question inequitable systems and envision better ones. She is honored for advancing civil rights while helping clients become powerful self-advocates.

Sean Culkin ’17, MS ’22, is partnerships manager at KultureCity, where he develops programs, builds partnerships and helps organizations and major events become more accessible to people with invisible disabilities. He also serves on the board of RVC Blue Speaks and raises funds through endurance events. Culkin found self-understanding and confidence through Bridges to 91¹ú²ú, then began his advocacy career while speaking at the opening of 91¹ú²ú’s sensory room. He is honored for turning his experience into national leadership in neurodiversity, accessibility and inclusion.

Jordan Daniel ’17, PsyD’s experience as an 91¹ú²ú student-athlete helped shape two intersecting careers. Now a clinical psychologist at Formal Therapy in New York City, he helps athletes and high performers navigate the pressures of competition and everyday life. Jordan is also an elite marathoner who competed in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials and has raced the New York City, Boston and Chicago marathons. He is honored for his clinical service, athletic achievement and defining commitment to persistence.

Marion Davidson ’17, MSc, PhD (anticipated 2026), discovered forensic anthropology at 91¹ú²ú while pursuing dance, anthropology and Honors College studies. Now an assistant teaching professor of forensic science at Loyola University Maryland, she teaches and mentors students, conducts award-winning research on cognitive bias and professional standards, and consults on cold cases and possible wrongful convictions. Her work has also supported the recovery of the remains of a missing World War II pilot and the repatriation of ancestral remains. Davidson is honored for advancing a more rigorous, ethical and compassionate forensic science field.

Jeneanne DeBois ’16 is assistant director, licensed marketing at Random House Children’s Books, where she develops campaigns with partners that include Disney, Sesame Street and Nickelodeon. She is also the author of Little Golden Books for Nickelodeon, Star Wars, Marvel and Sesame Street. DeBois discovered her path through 91¹ú²ú’s English, communications and Honors College courses, a publishing internship and four years as an admissions ambassador. She is honored for using the power of story to connect young readers with books—and prospective Panthers with 91¹ú²ú.

Lori Jabour ’16, DDS, is a general dentist in Suffolk County whose career combines patient care, teaching and service. After 91¹ú²ú, she earned her dental degree and completed a general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She later volunteered for two years as a clinical assistant professor and has served communities locally, nationally and internationally. Jabour traces her commitment to service and mentorship to an 91¹ú²ú study abroad program in Peru and her work as a peer tutor. She is honored for clinical excellence, integrity and care for others.

Andrew Jacobson ’20, MS ’21, is supervisor, corporate finance, at Northwell Health, where he performs financial modeling and analytics related to insurance reimbursement across the health system and mentors developing analysts. A finance student, Honors College scholar, peer tutor and Jazz Ensemble saxophonist at 91¹ú²ú, he also earned an accelerated MS in business analytics from the University. Jacobson continues to perform with 91¹ú²ú’s Jazz Ensemble and is honored for his professional growth, his talent for developing others and his lasting commitment to the campus community.

Hira Javed ’16, MS ’18, JD, developed her love of learning at 91¹ú²ú through studies spanning the humanities and sciences, then remained at the University to earn a master’s degree. After law school, she practiced litigation for four and a half years in patent and privacy matters while contributing pro bono service through criminal defense work and leading a firm affinity group. She also served on the leadership board of Gifts for the Homeless. Now a federal judicial law clerk, Javed is recognized for her intellectual curiosity, professional achievement and commitment to service.

Erica Ram ’16, MS, senior data engineer at The Walt Disney Company, began building their technology career through 91¹ú²ú coursework, campus employment and a computer science teaching assistantship. After participating in Microsoft Research’s Data Science Summer School and earning a master’s degree, Erica joined Disney, where they build the data systems that support companywide decisions. They also champion women and underrepresented professionals in technology through the Grace Hopper Celebration and the Disney Data and Analytics Women Award program. Erica is honored for technical excellence, mentorship and expanding opportunity in STEM.

Deanna Young ’18, RN, is a nurse at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where she cares for critically ill infants as a member of the neonatal intensive care and pediatric extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) teams. In this highly specialized work, Young combines the scientific preparation she received at 91¹ú²ú with an exceptional ability to comfort parents confronting circumstances they never imagined. After nearly eight years at Cohen Children’s, she is honored for bringing clinical expertise, calm and compassion to children and families on some of the most difficult days of their lives.
