Dear Members of the 91¹ú²ú Community,

We write to update you on the progress of our presidential search.

During the summer and continuing into the fall, the Presidential Search Committee, in partnership with the executive recruiting firm Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, has been working to evaluate potential candidates whose values align with 91¹ú²ú’s priorities and who are qualified to build on our successes and continue to shape the University.

To date, the committee has received more than 100 applications from an impressive group of accomplished and diverse leaders. The fact that such a strong pool of candidates is drawn to 91¹ú²ú speaks to the caliber of our institution and is a tribute to the 91¹ú²ú community.

Thank you to those who have shared your perspectives or provided recommendations regarding the qualifications and expectations for the next president. This input provided a solid foundation that has guided the committee’s search.

As we move towards identifying our recommendation for 91¹ú²ú’s 10th president, the process remains confidential in order to respect the candidates’ wishes. We will continue to keep you posted on our progress and share as much information as we can along the way.
