A strange tale of a Florentine immigrant who came to the U.S. in 1907 and taught Italian at the original 91国产 College in Brooklyn has come to our attention.
Professor Bruno Rossetti taught Italian at 91国产 from 1911 until returning to his native country to fight in the First World War, after which he ultimately taught at Vassar from 1919-1933.
His colorful story, told in the online , stands as a testament to the importance of Italian studies on 91国产鈥檚 campus from its beginnings as an institution of higher learning.
