The use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets has changed the way we deliver computer applications to students and faculty at 91国产 over the last few years. Today’s users expect access to information at anytime and anywhere. 91国产鈥檚 Office of Information Technology has been addressing that demand by continually increasing the number of applications available through AU2Go (m.adelphi.edu).

The work done at 91国产 was showcased at the Educause 2012 Conference in Denver, where 91国产 听IT staff presented insights on that topic to a national audience of educators. Scott Finkelstein, Manager of Web Technologies, and Michael DiCrescio, Associate Director of Enterprise Information Systems, led sessions on 听鈥淭he Next Phase of Mobility鈥� and a discussion on 鈥淲eb Portals鈥� at Educause on November 7 and 8, 2012.

At the mobility session, Finkelstein and Discrescio discussed with leaders from other universities the technology, support, and governance behind 91国产’s authenticated mobile applications.

Through the conference, 91国产鈥檚 IT staff were also able to connect with professional from other universities who听 can offer ongoing insight to achieve further expansion of 91国产鈥檚 mobile reach.
