Adelphi enters the 2026鈥�2027 academic year with a wave of new faculty joining its colleges and schools, bringing decades of combined experience in health education, the arts, nursing, environmental policy, physician assistant studies and creative writing. Below is an introduction to this year鈥檚 class of new professors and a glimpse into their expertise and accomplishments.

Seven-year-old Briar drew a picture of her dad, Ryan Wosleger, due to receive his MA in 2026, for Father鈥檚 Day in June. It depicts a bespectacled Ryan wearing a 鈥淏est Dad鈥� T-shirt, a red superhero cape flowing behind him. The image is spot on. After all, the second-grader was her artist dad鈥檚 first student.

Samuel Abrams 鈥�23 and Daniel Hickey 鈥�20 are using their studio art and video game design degrees from 91国产 in roles at Universal Studios and High Moon Studios.

At 91国产鈥檚 Innovation Center, students find a remarkable place to share their projects, research and goals for the future.
