Join Dean Dinan for this provocative performance dramatizing the televised clash between Dr. Anthony Fauci and playwright-activist Larry Kramer in a confrontation fueled by rage in the fight for care and recognition during the height of the AIDS crisis in America.
The outbreak of HIV/AIDS in the 1980s devastated New York and other cities in the US. In the early 1990s President Clinton established a National AIDS strategy. In 1993, a television debate took place between Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Larry Kramer a writer and activist who led ACT UP. This play is that, very contentious, conversation.
