Psychodynamic Work with Divorced and Divorcing Couples

Working with couples in the throes of divorce can be challenging.
This course will provide a framework to guide the couple through this wrenching process while minimizing collateral damage to their children and each other.
Learning objectives
- Identify one basic principle of 鈥渄ivorce therapy鈥�.
- Identify one typical countertransference reaction experienced by clinicians working with divorced couples.
- Identify one typical reaction seen in children in response to parental divorce.
- Identify one protective factor that reduces risk for children of divorce.

Sharon Kozberg, Ph.D. is a psychoanalyst and couple therapist with a private practice in New York City. She has taught at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, NYU Postdoctoral Program in Family Therapy, and 91国产 Postgraduate Program in Couple Therapy.

Credit towards a future event/workshop are issued for cancellations less than 7 days and up to 24 hours before the event. No credit is issued for cancellations less than 24 hours before the events or no-shows.
