Research, experience, and common sense all tell us that collaborative learning can be an effective鈥攁nd arguably crucial鈥攑art of pedagogy and course design.
Yet many of us shy away from it because, when it doesn鈥檛 work well, group work can hinder learning, frustrate students, or simply become difficult to manage.
This workshop will help take some of the mystery and dread out of collaborative learning by providing you with a practical toolkit for designing and facilitating group work that aligns with your learning objectives, supports meaningful student interaction, and builds a stronger sense of community in the classroom鈥攁ll while bringing a little more fun back into learning.
