By offering access to business and business-casual clothing at no cost, the Career Closet removes financial barriers and helps ensure every student can show up looking and feeling ready for what\u2019s next.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All clothing is donated and available to students at no charge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>How to Access the Career Closet<\/h2>\n<p>The Career Closet is currently available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please email <a href=\"mailto:engage@adelphi.edu\">engage@adelphi.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Career Closet Open Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mondays from 10:00am \u2013 1:00pm<\/li>\n<li>Earle Hall, Lower Level 010<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to appointments, <a href=\"https:\/\/myaulife.adelphi.edu\/events?query=%22career%20closet%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pop-up shops are scheduled throughout the semester<\/a> in the Ruth S. Students interested in volunteering on a weekly basis are encouraged to email <a href=\"mailto:engage@adelphi.edu\">engage@adelphi.edu<\/a> to learn more.<\/p>\n<h2>Looking to Donate Your Professional Attire?<\/h2>\n<p>The Career Closet accepts donations of professional attire only. Casual clothing such as t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers cannot be accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All donated items must be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gently used<\/li>\n<li>Free of stains (including perspiration and deodorant)<\/li>\n<li>Free of rips or tears<\/li>\n<li>Missing no buttons<\/li>\n<li>Free of fabric pilling<\/li>\n<li>Washed or dry-cleaned prior to donation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Most needed items:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women\u2019s blazers (sizes 4\u201310 \/ small\u2013medium)<\/li>\n<li>Men\u2019s suit jackets (sizes 37\u201340 \/ medium)<\/li>\n<li>Men\u2019s button-down shirts (medium and large)<\/li>\n<li>Ties<\/li>\n<li>Professional bags<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/womens-leadership\/\">Women\u2019s Leadership Conference<\/a> continues to partner with the Career Closet to support students preparing for interviews, conferences, and other professional experiences.
